Caythorpe Dash
The Bounders fielded a team of 4 lusty men for the Caythorpe Dash on Sunday 19th Feb. The event was unfortunately meant to be for mixed teams and none of us were prepared to go in drag. As ever for Caythorpe events it was a glorious day, cold clear and sunny, with the usual fine feed afterwards. Excellent performances from all particularly Mr Shaw, 5th place in a superb time for 13.5 miles – a little more than the alleged ‘half marathon’ distance and virtually all off road.
